Having a Gray Moment

Since November, I have been playing with grays in my palette. I started calling it “having a gray moment” when I realized I was not using pink in every painting anymore, but instead was playing with the range that gray can provide. At art supply stores I found myself seeking new grays, pre-mixed, that I could then work into my palette and play with further.

Flood, watercolor, gouache, charcoal and pencil on paper. 28″ x 36″ framed.

Some results. It has been fun.

I will share more soon. And yes, I will be posting here again.

Oh, yeah… I am launching a new weekly e-newsletter called Fresh Paint. Check it out. If you are into the art process and want to see my latest work, this will be your thing! Sign up here
